Brian C. Willman, “Willy” 56 of Crystal Falls, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at his home. He was born on November 15, 1959 in Crystal Falls, Michigan, son of Muriel (Waldron) and the late Gordon Willman. He attended school in Crystal Falls graduating from Forest Park High School in 1977. He attended Michigan Tech following graduation and DeVry University then enlisted in the United States Army. After his Honorable discharge from the Army “Willy” returned to Crystal Falls and worked in Mineral Exploration for many years. He was a lifelong resident of Crystal Falls however, enjoyed temporary residences in Wisconsin, Colorado and Jaimaica. He loved his time spent at the family camp enjoying the simplicity of life. During his illness he valued nothing more but to hear of his classmates, community, friends and families experiences as they lived their journey. He was deeply thankful for his loyal canine best friend “Sid” and those that took the time to know him. Brian is survived by his mother, Muriel Willman of Crystal Falls; brothers, Rob Willman and Gary (Brenda) Willman both of Crystal Falls; a sister in-law, Karen Willman of Crystal Falls; he is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Willman; and his brother,”Uncle” Jon Willman The visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the United Lutheran Church in Crystal Falls. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am at the church. Rev. Micheal Laakko will officiate. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in his memory.
