Dennis M. Charbarneau, 58, of Iron River, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at his home. He was born May 26, 1954 in Tomahawk, WI, to LeRoy and Arlene (Anderson) Charbarneau. Dennis lived most of his life in Rhinelander, WI and relocated to Iron River in 1978. He worked for a time as logger and then owned and operated his own trucking company. Most recently, Dennis worked in maintenance for the city of Caspian until his retirement due to his illness. He married Heather Quarless on June 16, 2012 at the demolition derby in Iron River. Dennis loved the demolition derby and was a member of the CPR Demo Team. He also loved camping, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Heather; children, Robert (Ashley) Charbarneau of Fort Myers, FL and Josh and Courtney Alexa at home; brothers, Daniel (Gina McClelland) Charbarneau of Caspian, Richard "Ricky" Charbarneau of Bemidji, MN and Randy (Tami) Charbarneau of Caspian; sisters, LeAnn Becker of Iron River, Linda (Dan Kline) Charbarneau of Watersmeet and Laurie (Artie) Panicucci of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Logan and Kylee; father-in-law, Terry Quarless of California; mother-in-law, Sue Korus of Hawaii; and sisters-in-law, Dawn Quarless of California and Heidi (Damon) Faria of California; aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his very special friends, Aaron (Jeanann Prepodnik) Upperstrom and family and many friends, including all of the members of the CPR Demo Team. Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
