Marlies "Marty" Wloszczynski

November 4, 1943 - April 2, 2018

Marlies "Marty" Wloszczynski, 74, of Crystal Falls, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay with her family by her side . Marty was born on November 4, 1943 in Germany. At the age of seven she was the first war orphan brought to the United States after the war ended. She was adopted by her parents, the late Henry and Lieselotte Heimhardt and raised in the Milwaukee area. Marty graduated from Messemer High School in 1962 and married Robert Wloszczynski on July 24, 1965 at St. John's Church in Milwaukee. She worked at Briggs and Stratton in Milwaukee and in 1976, Bob and Marty moved their family to the area and settled in Crystal Falls. Marty was a well known waitress at both Club Felix and Fob's restaurant for many years. She was a member of the Classic Car Club and the Chippewa Snow Cats Snowmobile Club. Marty was a fun loving, kind and spunky Lady who enjoyed the fun of the hunt while antiquing and collecting. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and cherished the time she spent with her two grandsons. She was preceded in death by her biological parents, Franz and Anna Huser and her adoptive parents, Henry and Lieselotte Heimhardt She is survived by her husband of fifty three years, Robert; Children, Todd (Linda) Wloszczynski of Crystal Falls and Tracy (JJ) Coppens of Niagara, WI; grandsons, Tyler and Joseph Coppens; sister, Josephine Heimhardt of Milwaukee; brothers in law, Ronald (Pat) Wloszczynski of Crystal Falls, Patrick (Joanne) Wloszczynski of Florence, WI and John (Ilene) Zoppetti of Florence, WI; Sisters in law, Sally Fugate of Suamico, WI, Rita (Roger) Krans of Aurora, WI, Alice (Jack) Johnson of Fence, WI and Venisa Leslie of Aurora, WI. Also by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00pm on Sunday, April 8th at the Nash Funeral Home of Crystal Falls. A Celebration of Marty's Life will be held at 3:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
