Rose M. Fabbri, 94, of Crystal Falls, passed away Saturday, Feb.12, 2011, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls. She was born Oct. 14, 1916, in Crystal Falls, daughter of the late Antonio and Linda (Rocon) Dal Lago. Rose graduated from Crystal Falls High School in 1936, and has been a lifelong resident of the area. She married Bay Fabbri on Aug. 31, 1940. Together they operated Bay's Coffee Shop in Crystal Falls. Bay preceded her in death in 1971. Rose also worked at the Crystal Falls Community Hospital for several years until her retirement. She has been a lifelong member of Guardian Angels Church. Rose enjoyed crafting, playing cards with friends, taking care of her home and just staying busy. She especially enjoyed being with her family Rose is survived by her son, Dennis (Cindy) Fabbri of Crystal Falls and her daughter, Patricia (Jim) Flack of Bonita Springs, Fla.; four grandchildren, Kristi Rae (Brent) Hawley of Flat Rock, Mich., Christopher (Laurie Aos) Fabbri of Escanaba, Ryan (Kim) Flack of Nashville, Tenn. and Natalie Flack of Washington, D.C.; and three great-grandchildren, Brendon and Trevor Flack and Kaitlyn Hawley. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Nash Funeral Home in Crystal Falls. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Guardian Angels Church. Fr. Jeffery Kurtz will offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Crystal Falls.
