Faith Allen Peterson

Faith Allen Peterson, 66, of Crystal Falls, MI, transitioned from an angel on earth to an angel in heaven on May 21, 2021 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital surrounded by her children. Faith was born in Flint, Michigan on May 20, 1955. She went to school at Battle Creek Central High School and moved to Iron River, MI with her family in 1971. She met the love of her life Melvin Peterson and spent many years of happiness on the Paint River, where they raised Jason, Amy, and Gene Giuliani. Faith was a blessing to everyone she knew. She had a genuine heart that cared for others before herself. She was known for her amazing cooking and baking skills, passion for gardening and her love of the outdoors. She could light up any room with her positive energy and warm hugs. She lived to take care of her family and home along with her great friends. She was grandma “ Bum” to many more than just her own grandchildren. Faith had a way of making everyone feel loved in her presence. Faith is survived by her three children, Jason (Robin) Giuliani, Amy (Craig) Tarsi, and Gene (Jackie) Giuliani; her sisters, Kate Faries, Holly Harvey, Amy (Brian) Brzoznowski; her brother, Tim Faries; her grandchildren, Sheena, Austin, Justine, Kevin, Nico, Vic, Jon; her great-grandchildren, Rebel and Declan; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and close friends. Faith is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Peterson, her mother Betty Hicks, and her father, Lloyd Faries. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 28th. Visitation will take place at Nash Funeral Home in Crystal Falls, from 2-4pm followed by a funeral service at Fortune Lake Lutheran Camp at 5:00pm with Pastor DJ Rasner officiating. Fellowship and a luncheon with the family will take place immediately afterwards. Please dress weather appropriately as to services being held outside, weather is always a concern. Pallbearers will be Jason Giuliani, Austin Giuliani, Gene Giuliani, Kevin Giuliani, Craig Tarsi and Nico Tarsi. Funeral arrangements by the Nash Funeral Home, Crystal Falls.
